The size of the artwork is 12″X16″ inches. in cm, it is 30X40. watercolors are used to give the fluid and flowing feel just as the character of the joker in the movie. colors are not overused in the background to showcase the power and attention the character demands through Heath Ledger’s brilliant portrayal in the movie. Other than the immediate background the white color has been allowed to shine through and has not been covered up in any wash. the white’s of the eyes is also just from the white of the paper and not because of the use of any kinds of gauche or acrylics being used on top of the dried watercolors. clothes have not been given any kind of attention by the artist just like the character who does not give any importance to his appearance other than his face.
